Robo-Temp Solution

Within 6 weeks we were able to develop, validate and fabricate a portable work cell. Installation of the work cell took 1 day which included validation runs of each part as well as training the hourly work force and engineering team how to run, troubleshoot and start up the cell. Since the installation there have been no issues with the cell.

Problem

An automotive supply company contacted A.I Automation to help “right size” a work cell and to see if automation could improve their productivity. We looked at the beginning of their process and noticed they had a manual labor person loading the work cell. They ran a three shift operation and had a person stationed there for each shift. After reviewing the process and time studies, we found that the installation of a Collaborative Robot would eliminate the need for 3 people and would improve productivity by 18%. Even with the complexity of 5 different parts being loaded our solution was to automate.
